This available feature provides gentle steering wheel turns (and Lane Departure Warning alerts if necessary) to help drivers avoid crashes due to unintentionally drifting out of their lane when they are not actively steering and their turn signal is not activated.
Available Rear Cross Traffic Alert
When in Reverse, this feature can alert you to detected left- or right-cross traffic behind you (such as when backing out of a crowded parking space or driveway with side obstructions)

Available Forward Collision Alert
The available Forward Collision Alert system uses camera technology and/or available radar to alert you to detected slowing vehicles in your path. It also warns you when following a detected vehicle much too closely.
Available Rear Camera Mirror
This available technology allows the rearview mirror surface to double as a video screen, providing the driver with a wider, less obstructed field of view behind the vehicle than a traditional mirror.
120-Volt Charging
When using the included 120-volt portable charge cord, you can plug in anywhere there’s a 3-prong outlet. Charging this way takes a little more time, so if you decide to use this as your home-base charging method, the key is to plug in every day after work and charge up overnight. That way, your battery never empties and you’re just topping off what you used earlier that day.
240-Volt Charging
Bolt EV and Volt come with standard 240-volt charging capabilities. The available 240-volt charging unit is the fastest, most convenient way to charge at home. It requires professional installation, so talk to a certified electrician about installation costs and incentives in your area.
Just as a heads-up, you may want to delay charging until utility rates are at their lowest off-peak prices, which is usually at night while you sleep.
Regen on Demand™
With just a simple pull of the paddle on your steering wheel, you’re able to slow down without using the actual brake pedal. This helps convert energy into more electricity and then transfers it back to the battery. Of course, you should always use your brake pedal if you need to stop quickly.
One Pedal Driving
When driving in Low mode at any speed, you can slow down – or even come to a complete stop – by simply lifting your foot off the accelerator. This allows you to use your brakes less, which means less energy is wasted, and in turn helps to increase your range. One Pedal Driving and deceleration features may be limited when the battery is near full charge or cold. Of course, you should always use your brake pedal if you need to stop quickly.
